- Equipment options – Some inverters and panels work better in some applications over others.
- Maintaince – Solar systems need to be maintained. Panels require regular cleaning.
- Warranties – x3 parts. Get these in writing. Install warranty. Panel warranty and Inverter warranty.
- Battery ready – Pretty soon battery storage will be affordable. Ensure your Inverter is battery ready.
- Electricity accounts – Have a record of about 12 months of electricity accounts to be able to calculate a system to suit and payback time frames.
